Dr. Tony Evans is the founder and senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, founder and president of The Urban Alternative and author of over 100 books, booklets and Bible studies. Larry Burkett's book on "Giving and Tithing" drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2020 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. Lord Jesus please keep me encouraged because being a single mother with two special needs children is overwhelming and challenging I’m desperately trying to provide for them. Lord give me strength as I continue to struggle to buy groceries and as I struggle to pay rent. Please Lord change my situation. I believe.❤️

Dr. Evans was vital in my life when I first gave my life to Christ. I was going through a ruff patch in life. While I was on patrol as a police officer, I listen and learn from him. I was able to put God first and grow. Dr. Evans was a mentor who guided to retirement and subsequently a doctoral degree. We have all fell shot of God. However, God forgives us for our sins. There were no perfect men in the Bible. God forgave them and led them to be great stewards of the word.. I pray for Dr. Evans and the request to God to forgive him of his sins. The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing. Dr. Evans you are a good person who have led people to triumph over evil.
