  • I've had a Summer Waves a few years. It's basically trial amd error. Keep chlorine tabs in it and shock every 6 days or so. I use th e powder shock. The pool places will tell you you need this and that...dont listen. These are a little less worrisome. I did add some algaecide once a bun ch of leaves stuck but for the most part some shock and chlorine tabs keep it nice and sparkly....just dont slack and stay on top of it..

Great info & delivery, thank you!

Great stuff... very thankful. What chemicals do I need to add on day (1) of opening my new INDEX 15' pool?
  • OMG I wish I had watched this video years ago. It would have saved me a lot of stress. Thanks!

Loving the videos! We had our salt water chlorinator bite the dust yesterday, so I’m converting over to regular chlorine pool, and I know nothing about those 😂 so thanks for the instructions
  • Thank you for this helpful video! I"m very new to owning a house with above ground pool. Wondering this ... mine has a vinyl liner. When I "shock" the pool I was told to be careful to not let it settle in one area. Previous owner said to dump it in the pump area. But that seems counterintuitive - won't it get sucked out rather than disperse into the pool? Do I just not understand the pump system?
  • Yo yo... you look like George Springer of the Houston Asstros. Nice! I'm worried about over doing it with the chemical. Just got an above ground 14x42 Summer Waves Elite and am looking to learn how to maintain a clean a small pool before we go bigger!😱😱😱

I have an Intex pool which had a salt water filter with no sand filter... Set it up and added to bags of 20kg of salt to the water and ran the pump for 24 hours before running the salt water filter .. when should I add more salt?

I have an intex above ground 15×48. How much stabilizer should I use after use?

I have a 2200 gallon easy set with an Intex 10 inch sand filter and intex saltwater generator. I for the life of me can't get my cya to register on strips or a liquid test. I have been using granular material. Any thoughts? All other chemicals are balanced. I do have a solar cover and a solid cover on when not in use. Levels are as follow. TH 200 TC 3 FC 1 PH 7.4 TA 180 Cya 0 I do have high iron that has to be filtered with a homemade 5 gallon pail at the beginning of the season if that matters. Thanks in advance
