Typically the CPU cooler space is pretty boring. But the Hyte THICC Q60 changes everything. It uses insane fans, an ultra thick radiator and one of the most unique pump designs around with a massive 5" LCD screen. It looks and sounds great but is this all nothing but hype?

Remember the time when AIOs only job was to just cool your CPU while keeping it as simple and quiet as possible? This is just ridiculous, but as long as there's a market...

HC: "This CPU Cooler could change EVERYTHING" Me: "Trust me, it changes nothing :face-blue-smiling: "
  • At 300 USD, baller PC builders would look at custom loops, and normal builders would rock an Amazon stats screen with a standard AIO

This is literally "anything to avoid the patent troll"

the pump and radiator is nice ,but the lcd screen is pretty dumb
  • Someone (I think it was in optimum‘s review) imo nailed it by commenting, that this AIO is meant for Youtubers - rather than consumers. Getting PR, pushing the brand etc. I wouldn‘t want a cheap looking „HTC One X“ kind of screen in my pc case. Tastes my vary, though.

This review is very different than all the others I've seen so far, everyone else had very negative review of this, with testing data.

Man id love these fans in a push/pull at 1000rpm would be a quiet ass custom loop.

I purchased the Thermalright Frozen Edge 360 AIO and paid like $55 and to be honest it works amazing. I couldn't believe that an AIO at this price could be so great in both performance and quality honestly. I will definitely continue to purchase from them for here on out since they are so affordable and really truly are manufactured high quality. Also really enjoy the fact this AIO only has RGB on the pump block itself, which consists of just a small strip of light that wraps around its edge. All that needs to be done is to be plugged directly into my motherboard RGB or any other controller to sync without any software. Absolute crazy performance per dollar cost overall for the Frozen Edge i can confirm that, but i have never purchased there other models so cannot confirm anything for them specifically, but would expect them to be decent also.

$300 is a little much for a AIO monitor or not The monthly payment on my 2021 Accord is less
  • For Ryzen 5000 series Cpu's, are the Intel or Ryzen Am5 results more relevant?
  • @88Opportunist
Don't you need the tubes going into the rad to be above the cooler for correct AIO installation?
  • @ranl.8936
can the screen help reduce the temp? Otherwise it changed nothing
  • @bearop3296
People need to let the cooler be a cooler.
  • @Arek_R.
They could add a button which you press and the AIO appears in the PC as a removable flash storage, microcontroller running this AIO most likely supports it. It then has got a config text file which you use to set settings/modes, then you also can upload your pictures/gif/mp4. This way the software is not needed.

What motherboard do you have installed for the bulk of this video?
