  • Was curious if you have any videos on how to reset from a trip, organize pictures and videos, and recalibrate. I see a lot of videos about trip planning but little about the backend of travel.
  • @Flute_Chandan
Very useful and practically workable tips! Thanks👌👌👌

This video dropped while I was inflight from FCO-ORD. 1 hour before departure(when unassigned seats are assigned for international) , I checked my seat against the seat map in the Carriers app. I switched from a full row up front to an empty row in the back of the aircraft . Also, in addition to merino T Shirt, Merino underwear helps a whole lot as well. PS,don’t wash or brush teeth with airplane lavatory water!

I just got back from a vacation with 6 flights, all over 5 hours each. NONE of the planes had screens. Passengers are now expected to plug in a tablet or phone with USB into the system to access the plane's entertainment. The airlines I was aboard were Alaska and Hawaii.

Great as always. Apart from the wobly tray table, exit rows in the front increases the chances of a crying baby exponentially. So I do not only avoid those but the the two rows behind also.
  • Regarding neck pillow: Some budget airlines started to count it as a personal item. Be aware about carry-on and/or personal item restrictions of airline - so many new downsized restrictions about size/weight with nearly all airlines.

Dressing in layers is so essential! When i was flying back from bangkok, the plane was like a fridge it was so cold!

We have a transatlantic flight next week and due to various canceled flights, got bumped from economy plus to business. I’m actually looking forward to a flight I would normally dread. I actually used your code a while ago, thanks, and got a pair of black travel pants from Unbound. I will also wear a merino base layer shirt, an alpaca zip-up hoody and a pashmina shawl, so plenty of warm layers.
  • @mmwrangler
Great content 👍only thing I do differently is no wool . Silk or silk like polyester in layers can take me from 80 to 20 without shedding . Personally I have found wool even the best can have an itch attack without warning.

Have you tried the Timeshifter ap? It was helpful for avoiding jetlag on our most recent trip to Europe. Appreciate your middle-section aisle suggestion. I used to take the window, now take the aisle because getting stuck for hours on end is awful.
  • @DocRock
The most underrated advice that people will ignore and shouldn’t is the Unbound Merino bit. I on a whim purchased my first 3 shirt bundle three months ago. I now have 9 tees regular and lightweight, under wear and recently got the socks. I’ve done 4 trips with it and it is a game changer. Worth the spend. Yes I tried the *%#€£ty ones from Amazon and they suck and was why I put off UBM for so long focused one the price. The benefits outweigh the price ten fold Mahalo 🤙🏽
  • I make frequent trips to SE Asia and I always get an aisle seat. I also take a hoodie as planes can get cool and I also like to put the hood up to let people know I’m unavailable. I download Netflix shows on my iPad and you can binge an entire season. I also listen to audio books. Get a Bose Quiet Comfort headset, the battery life is great and the noise canceling is not only great for plane noise but really works great for crying kids.

Compression under shorts - under the sweatpants helps a lot too..
