Oh my gosh, Shawna. I'm no longer a beginner but I still like to watch your videos because you are so encouraging - and sometimes I need that. I was laughing at the "dumb designs" riff. I let doubt hold me back far too often. So you've inspired me. I'm adding to my to-do list to "create 3 dumb designs". Hear me out. I recently heard one of my favorite authors say that part of his process to make sure he writes every single day, is to "write 2 crappy pages". He said it makes the task of writing less daunting, and he almost always ends up writing some great content after he gets started. -- Thanks for always being so inspiring and encouraging. This is me! I've been an artist most of my life. I love to be organized in my studio to save time in finding the supplies I need to do projects, but because the ideas are always flowing and I feel the need to start the idea while it's fresh in my mind the ADD circle begins and I tend to loose focus on the bigger side of picture of success. Daily tasks written down the night before sets me up for success the next day.
