it may not be your norm but like a lot of other people in the comments here, I think that old Suburban is a diamond in the rough and deserves some sprucing up. 🤙

Appreciate you doing these. People dont realize how much work goes into filming and editing until they do it. Keep doing what you do.
  • Chris I loved it when you said to Jen “Full Strokes Baby” lol 😂 I was dying laughing great job on the maintenance repairs on the Chevy burb
  • Thank you for saying what you did about the flag and the men and women who gave their life for all of us Retired US Army Sargent Major Gamsby
  • I love the idea of you keeping it and using it for your far away "will it runs" and what not. Who cares what it looks like, she's strong and reliable with a ton of cargo space! I'm also super pumped for you that you got a sponsor from @Peakauto You deserve it Chris!
  • Funny to see you using Mahle parts, for their warehouse in Memphis TN my mate flew out from Germany to install the logistics IT sytems... Great job, straight to the point, no fussing around, loved the side views of your area! 👍👍👍

One thing I do notice about you you have a tool for every job you do not have to go hunting you do not have to go and buy a tool. You have a tool and to me that’s amazing.
  • Those suburbans really are nice rigs...Love to see you paint it all black.
  • New video!!!! I wrench all day and then go home and check your channel for a new video. I apply a lot of this to work everyday and I even surprise myself with the things I know from watching you. Thanks man.

A late friend once had a Chevy Suburban back in the 70's. It was real reliable. Thanks for posting another great video! Mike in Oregon
  • Mechanic here. I Completely agree using a light smear of sealer. Love your work Chris.

Chris, I just got to say how much I enjoyed the videos, you put out, on going to Nevada, for the Suburban....Then driving it home! You say it was a vacation, but I'm sure it was work. You guys put out some of the best content, and I very much appreciate it. I'll be watching you, and Jen on your videos to come. Be careful, and thanks you guys. Gus, also is a great dog.
  • Great video! I was given a 1990 Chevy Suburban 350, 4x4 that was sitting for 8 years in the PNW. The rear intake is leaking oil and valve covers, so I will be doing this exact thing. Videos like this save people like me and many others so much time and money, and give us the ability to pass the info on to others.

The Chevy Suburban was a dream car for me over a while. Finally we ended up with a Toyota HJ 60 4liter Diesel, made in 89. Great Car, just like made forever, but the Chevy has still the charming, the smell of never ending sunken roads. A fine piece of machinery and easy to maintain and fix

Rear air, barn yard doors, similar to the truck I learned to drive on. My Dad had an '83 2500 Suburban with the 6.2 diesel, gutless but torquey motor, loved that truck. I love the square body chevys, NGL I'm kinda jealous!
  • Totally agree with the "leave the sediment alone", I've seen new leaks that started after a deep clean.
  • Thank you Chris, for recognizing the true meaning of Memorial Day - to remember those Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines who died in defense of our great Country. It's not Veteran's Day, that's in November - it's MEMORIAL Day.
