i grew up in the sf bay area. here in ca the news does not even report on anything 4.0 and under. unless it is a slow news day. if buildings were built with earthquakes in mind these would be just minor dry wall and window cracks.

My bet is ground water over-useage issues. All these quakes were pretty mild in intensity but consistent w/ other States experiencing similar unfamiliar earthquakes.

Small news in California, not even worth talking about, besides, "Felt that. Have a nice day." Hope the Texans survive this "Disaster". I'd be more scared of the Texas-sized bugs than a 5.1 earthquake! Them critters are REAL! :)
