Not all of the horses we take in have suffered abuse or neglect. Some, like Sister, come from loving homes who needed to find new circumstances for their animals. We are honored to be given the trust of those who make the hardest decision to rehome their horses through us when they can no longer care for them.

Sister has been a pleasure to get to know. She is truly a big ol snuggle bug. While she initially had some anxiety adjusting to her new situation, she's really come around and is a lot of fun to ride, with some of the smoothest gaits you'll find and responsive lateral movements. After 50 years I still remember the first horse I ever bought on my own as a colt to raise and train.
