Recipe
2 cups flour (all-purpose)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter (cold) - I cube mine 👍
3/4 cup buttermilk
-Whisk together dry ingredients.
-Cut in cold butter (I used my hands because I do not have a pastry cutter. A fork can also be used).
-Add buttermilk, and combine.
-Turn dough onto a floured surface. Gently knead dough for a couple minutes to combine better. Do not over-knead.
-Roll to 1/2 inch thick.
-Cut out biscuits.
-Bake at 415°F for 15 minutes.

Buttermilk Substitute
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons white vinegar
-Stir to combine. Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, until milk begins to curdle.
-Use right then or store for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
I made the mistake of "rolling" these biscuits a little too thin and they didn't rise as much as I'd like, but they sure were tasty!!
Hope y'all enjoy them as much as my family does! ❤
