    I dont think anyone is overlooking him. We are all eagerly awaiting to see how he performs after a devastating knee injury.

    I will hold my breathe on Overshown coming off an ACL having a breakout year. I thought Damone Clark would have a breakout year and he was a average. I am more confident Lifau will show out more than Overshown and Clark. Kendricks will be our best LB.

    I had a lot of hope for Clark but man there was times last season that he jumped a gap and the RB ran right by him. Not having LVE didn’t do Clark any favors but I thought he could’ve played a lot better than he did.

    He can’t break out. He hasn’t played a single down of football yet. Hopefully he can do as well or better than he did at UT 2 years ago. I’m rooting for him!

    Bell is a Safety, DO is being overlooked because he hasn’t been seen yet , I’m hoping coming seasons we will be set at LB with DO and ML fingers crossed 🤞

    Feel and see think that he should slow after that leg . But just have to wait and see what happens.

    If they keep Bell at linebacker, I'm sure they already have him on a strength weight-training / diet regimen to gain the mass/weight to play the position. It's not like he couldn't return around 230-235 lbs this coming season. I don't think anyone is sleeping on Overshown, rather I see more hype and hopium with him than I do with Clark. Damone Clark in Zimmer's defensive scheme is who everyone is sleeping on. People are sleeping on Sam Williams while hyping up Kneeland.

    I think Overshown needs to play S close to the line,not a full LBer because its going to be another Bell

    We failed to stop the run against teams with winning records last year. Safeties as linebackers does not work. Hopefully our defensive linemen will contribute this year to plug up holes and our new core of linebackers will punish running backs. This will force third and long where, with our outside rush, will allow our corners and safeties to shut down the passing game. I am eager for the Doomsday Defense to return.

    DeeMo will probably come in and be that rarity in that it won’t surprise me if he balls out his first game back. He’s a very talented young player with outstanding instincts to go along with his athletic ability. AND he has that killer instinct combined with an amazing work ethic that makes him a coach’s dream! Too bad #11 doesn’t have some of the qualities DeeMo has. Instead of just talking, he’s going to produce.
