I love Jim Breuer. I once wanted to order a DVD from the US with his stand-up, but because of shipping costs was unavailable due to the fact that I live in the Netherlands. He sent me the DVD for free with a personal note. Thanks again Jim.

Jim Breuer's laugh is something you would hear inside an Asylum at 3AM.
  • The guy does a brilliant job of describing the way you suffer as a human being when you’re in a toxic environment at work. It’s beautiful to see he kept his integrity. And all the respect to his wife for being supportive yet tough “look at you, you’re miserable… this is not Jim. Where’s goofy uplifting Jim” All the respect for his honesty. I bet there are people that this helps them feeling like someone else knows that sort of misery but got out of there & how good it feels when you look back knowing you’re ok now

Jim did a meet-n-greet at my record store promoting his album (on Metal Blade records). He was so nice to everyone that came in. Told stories and was so personable. I had 4 tickets comp'd to his show to give away at the MNG but he gave me n my wife two tickets for ourselves. He also sent a msg to meet him after the show and he thanked me n bought me a beer. Just insanely nice. Thanks Jim. Fuckin class act.

Jim Brewer. the only guy that need to pull up the sleeves on a short sleeve shirt. Love it

Jim Breuer sounds like he's constantly doing an impression of Jim Breuer
  • Jim embodies the old adage “never stay where you’re not appreciated .” Well done.
  • Man I’ve always loved Jim Bruer, but within the past three years he has really shown himself to be a solid dude with a good head on his shoulders that doesn’t just lie down for people. Utmost respect

I love hearing anecdotes about Dave Foley, the Kids in the Hall simply don't get enough credit for how good they were/are.
  • SNL fired Norm. That tells you everything you need to know about SNL.
  • "If any job makes you that miserable...." word! These are words to live by! And for him to give a positive shout out to his wife is very admirable (so said all wives who watch this, haha) Totally salute him for walking away! That is a normal and healthy response to the bullying that goes on in many jobs.
  • 4:18 The way He speaks so positively about his wife is so Real, and comforting, Powerful. They say, 'Love Conquers All'.

Jim is the human iteration of the wacky-waving-inflatable arm-flailing tube man.

I've been in a sorta similar workplace environment. Your idea gets shot down at one meeting. A month later, someone else brings up the same idea, and "Gee, what a great idea!" It was great relief getting the hell outta there.
  • @Dave........
Phil Hartman on News Radio was so friggin great. The smoking episode might be my favorite.

When Breuer was one of the funniest dudes on SNL back in the day. I taught myself how to do Goat Boy as a twelve year old. When I took an improv class twenty years later and we were animals I let out his goat sound, it crushed every time. Pretty sure I owe him royalties on those laughs.

Jim Brewer knows what's really going on. It's a very sad thing very few are willing to speak out like he is.
  • @Ditka-89
Just to set the record straight, the cast member who stole Jim’s sketch was Chris Kattan. The head writer who had it in for him was Adam McKay.
  • I truly admire how Joe makes his guests feel comfortable enough to tell their stories without judgement....only questions for them. It is amazing.

Met Jim Breuer after a show in San Jose and that guy was down to earth and a genuinely nice guy... Definitely a great memory
