  • You smiling from the start said it all. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole.
  • @DanloRingess
Thanks for the great reaction and analysis. Home Free, along with Voiceplay and Pentatonix, make up the three best a capella groups out there today. I would love to see you react to more from Home Free, as well as the other two that I mentioned. For Pentatonix, I would suggest trying their cover of Hallelujah. For Voiceplay, I recommend either their cover of We Don't Talk About Bruno (from the movie Encanto) or their cover of Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill. This song that Home Free performed is also a cover, by the way. It is best known from the movie O Brother Where Art Thou, but it predates that by many years.
  • Just loved you and your reaction! I came here for Home Free... please do more?! Home Free is my obsession.. they can truly sing anything and any genre.. and they are all extremely talented! Enjoy all you see and hear.. Stay safe! I look forward to seeing you and your reactions! Your favorite bass singer is Tim Foust.. he has a huge vocal range so there are times when he sings super high, too! Austin Brown (first singer.. high tenor) Rob Lundquist is the high tenor (the second singer with the bushy beard and glasses) Adam Chance is the newest member He sings baritone and occasionally bass.. .on this song he does the jaw harp.. to avoid confusion with two Adams, he is called Chance... Adam Rupp is the beatboxer... amazingly talented. They are so diverse.. my favorite song of theirs is Mayday.. or How Great Thou Art.. .. just pick anything! You wont be disappointed. Thanks for all you do!
  • @Angie_Smith
I loved your reaction Home Free is amazing! You should listen to “helplessly Hoping” it’s all vocal without any beatboxing/vocal percussion.
  • Deep rabbit hole you just fell in with Home Free! Welcome to the Home Fries!
  • @minneyruth
Rob & Austin even put out an Opera video. Nessun Dorma. It's on Austin Brown's channel. Please check that out. Great reaction ❤️ subscribed for more Home Free
  • @Quizzy0000
i love your reaction welcome to home free any song you pick is amazing :) they are really that good
  • Welcome to the rabbit hole. These guys are awesome. Pick any song they do and it's fire 🔥.
  • @dagmar.6954
You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
  • Your comments were , definitely, on point. Thank you for recognizing the instruments replicated. The beat-boxer is Adam Rupp. Chris Rupp is no longer singing with the band. He was replaced by Adam Chance (Jew harp - overtone sound). Your picking up on Home Free being a single entity was perfect. As you experience them, it becomes more apparent. Depending on the song, the appropriate member will assume the lead performer, with the others adding complete support. No one “star” in this group, just unified perfection. Each a star in their own way.
  • @Kodiak660
Adam Chance - jaw harp. Adam Rupp- beat boxer. Austin - lead. Rob - awesome beard Tim- bass fantastic video! All of their performances are amazing! Thank you again! Check out their cover of End of the road, or Helplessly hoping.
  • @babyfry4775
Home Free is the real deal. They are known for having such great harmonies. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range. They are all so versatile. They can all beatbox to a degree and their beatboxer Adam, is award winning and the best in the business. Try Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, In the Blood, One Man Band.
  • To get a feel for each of their individual voices, listen to their Sea Shanty Medley. It also shows their fun side. If you're feeling brave, try The Butts Remix for their absolute silly side. Side note; Adam Chance goes by Chance, so he's not confused with Adam Rupp the beatboxer.

My first time seeing you and you’re already a favorite BECAUSE I love that you watch the video without interruption the first time! I’m constantly frustrated by reactors who (many times) miss the most important parts of a song because they’ve stopped in exactly the wrong place! I also enjoyed your great review very much. Subscribed! 😊👍🏼
  • Hello Dounia, I am a "HOME FRY" (a huge Home Free Fan) and if you liked what you heard and saw on this video, get ready to go on one of the most amazing musical reaction journey exploring Home Free and their deep musical catalog because they don't miss!!! With absolutely no disrespect to all of the other wonderful A Capella groups out there, in my humble opinion, Home Free (both collectively & individually) is the most versatile Vocal Band on the planet!!! Please read all of the comments below, all of the suggested songs, react to them and Home Free will not cease to amaze you!!! Therefore, in advance I officially welcome you into the fan base known as the "HOME FRIES!!!" Sincerely, CR SoundDoctor
  • New subscriber - thanks to your great reaction to & appreciation of this amazing performance by Home Free. Good to learn that you're open to listening to a variety of music & performers. I highly recommend an incredibly talented singer from Norway - Angelina Jordan. (IMHO she is the best female singer that I've listened to in my lifetime - & I'm 73 :). She's been performing since a very early age & she won Norways Got Talent at age 8. In order to really appreciate her raw talent, I highly recommend her black & white cover of Put A Spell On You (which she also arranged) - at age 9. Thank you. Looking forward to more of your reactions.
  • Austin, Chance and Tim are pretty successful on solo adventures. Home Free can sing any genre. Rob and Austin even have an opera video. We Home Fries call Adam's harmonica the nomonica 😆 Austin Brown Tenor 1 Rob Lundquist Tenor 2 Adam Chance Baritone Tim Foust Bass Adam Rupp Beatboxer Chris Rupp is Adam's brother and cofounder of the group, he left for a solo career and was replaced by Adam Chance. We just call him Chance.

Subbed for Home Free - will watch for more! I'm sure you'll get hundreds of song suggestions from all the home fries, but whatever you choose - I don't think you'll be disappointed. Some day you should definitely check out Adam Rupp's Drum Solo from 2015.
