Hi Emilie! I made my first sourdough bread using your fantastic cookbook! How can I show you a picture? Also, would it work ok to double up the recipe to have 2 loaves?
-
Mine tastes good but a little denser than I'd like. Would stretching and folding it more help with that?

I made this loaf tonight and it came out really small. Was it supposed to? My usual loaf calls for 450 grams of flour and the loaf comes out medium to large. This is 250 grams, so it's supposed to be a pretty small loaf, correct?

Hi. Do you preheat your Dutch oven? If so, has it ever cracked? I bought an enameled Dutch oven and it says not to preheat dry. I'm not sure what to do.

Hi! May i know the size of your dutch oven? Thank you

I'm a bit concerned, At the beginning you start with 110grams of active starter, water and flour and let it get active, then when you come to use it for the bread ,you only use 50grams of the starter! What did you do with the rest of your active starter? Regards Trudie
