@tonyhortonfitness the creator of P90X and @MyPowerLife is a fitness legend and has trained some of the biggest celebrities from action heroes to rock stars. Today he faces one of his greatest challenges.
Today we have a bonafide action hero on the show, @CynthiaRothrockChannel holds six black belts, She was the first woman on the cover of Karate Illustrated Magazine, and she has broken records in the Hong Kong Film industry. During Cynthia's outstanding career, she has been featured on the cover of Black Belt magazine multiple times and is a member of the prestigious Black Belt Hall of Fame, along with Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris. In 2016 she was the first martial artist (male or female) to be inducted into the prestigious International Sports Hall of Fame by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dr. Robert Goldman.
After Cynthia teaches Tony Horton some incredible martial arts moves they sit down for an interview all about Cynthia's film career. Cynthia started acting in Yes Madam (1985), alongside recent Academy Award winner, Michelle Yeoh. Since then she has starred in some landmark action films such as Millionaire's Express/ Shanghai Express (1986) alongside Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao, The Magic Crystal (1986) alongside Richard Norton, Above the Law/ Righting Wrongs (1986), The Inspector Wears Skirts (1988), China O'Brien (1990), Martial Law (1991), Tiger Claws (1991), Fast Getaway (1991) alongside Corey Haim, Undefeatable (1994), and Sworn To Justice (1996).
Plus Cynthia tells us all about making her very own movie! After studying martial arts for 49 years and acting in films for over 40 years she is also stepping behind the camera to write, produce, and of course star in Black Creek.
The plot centers around a sheriff’s sister who seeks revenge against the terrifying leader of a group of outlaws after discovering he brutally murdered her brother, his wife, and other family members in a gritty southwestern town. Cynthia was also able to bring in lots of her famous co-stars including Richard Norton, Billy Blanks, Don 'The Dragon' Wilson, Patrick Kilpatrick, Kevin Sorbo, Benny 'The Jet' Urquidez, Keith Vitali and Olivier Gruner to name a few!

Im a Singaporean. Seen Cynthia Rothrock's Hong Kong film back in the 80-early 90s. Even till today in entire Chinese cinema history in terms of female action star ranking based on with real skill. Cynthia is still ranked number one now among the female action star. As the rest are either dancers or from chinese opera trophe.

Thanks Tony! I know Cynthia, always a go-getter, inspirational. You make a good point with age, as I'm born in the 60's and deal with many issues that make things like martial arts a challenge, but it's better to take on that challenge than not be able to simply walk when I'm in my 90's.
