The brakes, steering components, wheels and tires, cooling system, and fuel system all see attention here. Do you think we can make it reliable? Or will it leave us walking...

When pulling a fuel tank, the first step is: accept that you'll be doing this again really soon because no matter how hard you try, something will still be broken.

I love the content lately. The quality is continually improving, and you've developed your own unique voice/style and it comes through. Keep up the good work Dalton.

Love your sons attitude and willingness to help and learn...good job dad !
  • I have a bad habit of watching other people struggle with their project cars.. Whilst mine sits in the driveway broken.. but at least I'm learning.. or that's just what I tell myself to sleep at night lol. Keep up the great work

Why is this guy not over 200K subscribers?? He is probably one of the most relatable channels on YouTube!
  • @peterlobb6456
Can we have Cody in every video please? You three are great together!
  • When your brother and ViceGripGarage's brother inevitably form a superhero duo, I doubt anything on earth can stand before that mighty combined beardforce.
  • @BuffsGarage
It's amazing what a HUGE PILE of antique gold Pontiac can look like with a little effort.. I have no doubt you and Kevin @junkyarddigs will have a blast on your secret mission in the Grand Prix..

WHAT A BEAUTY! I have the 1974 SJ version of that car, in RARE TRIPLE BLACK with 455 D.E.

Is it just me or are these videos getting to be more fun to watch lately? I also like the fact that he's working on vehicles that I would have bought myself, rather than just square bodies and old 4 door Chevy's that I'd never own. GM rotors in the mid 70s had groves around the center to help evacuate brake dust and cool the rotor. Didn't work but they tried. Also, that limp fuel line is what ethanol does to old style fuel lines.
  • FWIW on one of these revivals, put a little of the old gas on a piece of bare metal. Let it evaporate. If you can drag your finger across the residue left behind and it doesn't stick or feel tacky, you can run it through and it won't stick the valves or carb
  • "Gently, gently, gently...easily...oh no...easily...just give it little, c'mon now, will you just be cool...ahh noo." Is the first line in Dalton's new song "Petcock Blues". Available, maybe, or maybe not, in the future. Grab your copy today! BUT WAIT THERES MORE! If you order now, we will send you absolutely free, a copy of Daltons new "DIY Autobody Insider". Where you can learn how to use your own body to automatically revive your car to factory fresh! - - Dalton, as always sir, your vids ROCK! Thanks man, you make this ole vet smile. Please keep up the good work! (still no update on my search for a squarebody)

That tank is toast for sure. Loving the attention that you have paid to this beast, she's starting to look like she could even make it to Texas.
  • @Foxcanfixit
Watching Cody perform feats of strength with the fuel hose was great!😂😅
  • For the top shock mounts I bent an open end wrench to fit in there on my 76 Monte Carlo.
  • @flurpoid
You do a great job making wrenching on old rigs look fun and rewarding. Hope y'all are enjoying this great cruising weather.
  • You guys just keep picking at it and eventually that car will be sort of roadworthy 😉 I love that generation Grand Prix. You guys are a great team together, about the great work and the cool videos 👍✌️🇺🇲
