Published 2023-06-05
Welcome to CityDriver, a brand new driving simulator which allows you to drive a variety of vehicles through Munich! This game has just been released and I'm going to be finding out whether it's worth buying or whether it's a complete DUD!

You already got me hooked in that intro. I do wonder what will happen...
  • @Lacigany.
City car driving is a relatively old game (with bad driving physics) but it is more enjoyable than this "unfinished" game. I hope there will be some bug fixing patches because it would be a really good game.

The small part of Munich included in the map (mostly Schwabing) is actually very well designed and as close to reality as it can get in a game. I know because I live near the MaeWest ("The Vase"). Might be fun to race around your hometown at ridiculous speeds, but 35€ is a bit too much for the current state of development...

I'll be waiting for City Car Driving 2 instead, it seems like a dev team that (mostly) knows how to make a good driving experience
  • The city looks quite true to detail! I’ve been a few times in Munich and i remember it being very similar.

I love the background music, that is from Gran Turismo 4.. Nice detail, gonna watch the rest of the video
  • It has potential, needs better FFB, should let you customise and modify cars and play with others online. Also should have income based missions or jobs so you can then use that money to buy better cars and mods etc. Maybe stuff like Uber driver or something

UK roads + VR and some better pedals would make this amazing

Nice review. However, in my opinion, Aerosoft needs to get it together a bit. A lot of the games cause a lot of hype for the release, but it ends up getting “mostly negative” reviews. It’s pretty much always the same.. they make a game, release it way too early, never finish it and sell it for an extremely ridiculous price. I was excited about this game until I saw the reviews.. also, why does every game from theirs require a NASA Supercomputer to run? This game has potential, but knowing Aerosofts history, it will just be another overpriced game that never gets finished..
  • Hi, I bought this game today, I love it, I'm glad you filmed it, you're my favorite youtuber 😀😀😀😀😀😀
  • for 30€ i can buy BeamNG and some payed mods (and its more Worthy)

Steam reviews, although not many, are terrible. However, seeing how long city car driving has been around and how many updates it has had, I do have faith that one day this will be a decent experience.

Looks good but what am hoping for is that we can changed cockpit for steering wheel to be on the right or left
  • Lovely GT4 soundtracks, Combines completely with several car games, so chill

Looks like I'll be sticking with City Car Driving. Wish it had some stretches of highway like this does though.

1:37 wow I like that you in-game FPS turned on, not many youtubers have it turned on.
  • @StormTheDoggo
This looks like more a game to grab some extra money to keep developing the full game
