Title: Historic Colorado Gold Localities
Description: Brian Kosnar is back again with another presentation for FMVA! This month, Brian will be discussing the rich history of Colorado gold and will provide us with an overview of some of the best gold localities in the state. You may think of gold as nuggets, but this presentation showcases some of the best crystallized gold specimens Colorado has to offer. There is also a special connection to the Hope Diamond which is now on display at the Smithsonian! This presentation is a must if you want to learn about some of the best gold localities in Colorado, and even the United States. Forget California...welcome to Colorado!!

Cant believe im the 5th comment in 3 years... This took alot of effort and is fantastic history! Hail from brokenfridge!
  • I felt like I knew this guy, I was really big into buying and researching Colorado mining and gold in the 90's, and had a lot of Colorado gold specimens and mining items from most of these mines. Great video that took me back to my times in Colorado.

The best video I have ever seen on Colorado Gold specimens, Thanks. I always thought there are 12 Troy ounces to a troy pound though.
