The downgrade was something I had never seen before on a show. It went from a pretty good superhero show to Power rangers

Even if you put 0:16 in slow motion, it STILL looks like Barry is having his ass handed to him for real. Shows how much effort used to be put into the show.

Even though S1-S4 animation wasn’t the best, it was extremely satisfying to see how well it worked with fast paced animation and it was SOMETHING, after S5 it felt like the fights got EXTREMELY lazy, instead of fighting like DBZ characters they started fighting like some damn sith lords

CGI is definitely important but I think what gave those early fights so much personality is the camera work involved. It gave so much ferocity to every hit and motion.

I miss the the time where the cw flash were not afraid to get a bit dark like zoom vs flash, I was actually terrified of him and how ruthless he was, and it was back then when the cw actually tried with speedster fights and actually puts effort into it
