Yoel is one of the strongest "what ifs" cases for me. Had he entered the sport even ten years earlier... Imagine...

You can tell Joe really likes doing the impression of Yoel. It's like he did it once and was like "hey, not bad" so he did it 4 more times.

This guy RIGHT NOW is getting ready to fight for the Bellator World Title. He STILL isn't done at all! This guy will forever be one of the most talented human beings to walk the face of the earth. God really did bless him with special physical gifts.

Joe trying to get Masvidal to compliment that impression... King for not taking the bait.

Yoel telling Bisping, “I love you”, was one of the funniest, most badass, and scariest comments made by a UFC fighter. 😅

I met Yoel around 2013ish down in Florida at the Deerfield Walmart on Hillsboro and 441. I was a huge fan of him since the Sydney Olympics. I kept staring at him and finally approached him and told him in Spanish that he looked exactly like this Cuban Wrestler and he laughed and said it was him. I was so stoked. Shook his hand and it was different. Just a man made outta wood. Super nice dude though. Soft spoken and has a good energy.

Evidently, he's also incredibly well spoken in his native language as well. One of his trainers and a few others have referred to him as a Warrior Poet and I think that's dope.
  • The damage he got in the Rockhold fight, and then this brutal ko I honestly think ended Weidmans career early. Dude has never been the same since.

I took a picture with Yoel during the week before his first fight with Whittaker. I put my arm on his shoulder to take a picture, I've never felt a human being with muscles like that in my entire life. His shoulder felt like putting your arm on an oak table. Not in any way exaggerating. He was like a bodybuilder flexing as hard as he can while he was completely relaxed. I have no clue how the fuck he made 185 and I have no clue what they injected into that guy in Cuba but it really worked and is still working lol

Wrestlers have the strength that just can't be replicated by lifting. It's so transferrable just by mastering bodyweight. It works. Yoel is a prime example of it
  • I love hearing anything involving Yoel, he seems like a really wholesome dude, but also the scariest person on the planet
  • The key to being as physically freakish as Romero is carefully choosing the right parents.
  • @MavDillain
Joe talking about Romero like he's been out of the game... Dude is still taking heads off in Belator

Romero’s knockout of Weidman was my favourite finish for a LONG TIME. Every time i’d see someone shoot for a takedown, i never understood how people weren’t eating knees more often
  • @bobdole7292
“He doesn’t lift weights” Video immediately cuts to footage of him working out with weights
  • @MrFlex5
Bisping avoided the Yoel fight at ALL costs.
  • I truly think if Yoel came over at 19 he would be top 5 no question
