Every time i think the NYT can't be more pathetic or out of touch, they prove me wrong.
  • Let Democrats interested in running have a public venue to make their case. Let them do this frequently over the next month, and let the convention delegates vote at the convention. Not rocket science.

The last guy seems to have forgotten how we got here. Can’t replace Biden cause that would be undemocratic? And coronating Biden without a primary was somehow more democratic?

Just my opinion, and I take no joy in saying this. Kamala publicly presents as awkward, inarticulate, and she regularly repeats the exact same silly word-salady phrases. She is not likable. Again, just my opinion, and I respect your opinions. She's just a national embarrassment.

Wes Moore: inexperience in Washington politics is not an asset.
  • @gnoufignon
Kamala. "Eloquent" wow, two words that I don't expect to hear in the same breath
  • The only way Kamala might have a chance in November is if Biden steps down now and appoints her and she doesn’t suck for the next four months.

How is Harris a successful debater?? In the first primary debate, she instantly owned her self attempting to play the race card on Biden by bringing up school bussing, and never recovered. She sucked.

Too bad we didn't do a primary....
  • Two myths that made history: "Iraq has weapons of mass destruction" and "Biden is fit to serve another term."
  • @TomBouthillet
The Democratic party owes it to the American people to have a contested convention as penance for not having a primary.
  • @sharpwp
Joe Manchin??? Really??? Did we really need to listen to that?
  • @TrueBlueNyc
Why can NYT put sections in their video so we can skip Joe Manchin talk?
  • I wish all government from local to federal, wasn't guided by what we DON'T want, but rather by what we DO want.
  • I would love Governor Whitmer! I am a Michigander and she has been amazing for this state. We went from the Snyder shitshow to being a state that I am incredibly proud to live in. We have marijuana, abortion access, and we overturned right-to-work! Also she doesn't say loony shit like coasty politicians.
  • Charles Blow: "I'm not trying to convince anyone that Biden is your best candidate, he's a fantastic person, and you know, shooting on all cylinders and full of verve, I'm just saying that as it stands, he is likely your best option.." Do you hear yourself, advocating for someone you can't even vouch for being "firing on all cylinders"? Do you blame the voters for wanting a president who is lucid, competent and capable, as a minimum standard?

I stoppped listening when he suggested joe Manchin to be president . A person who stopped democrats from carrying out any agenda that would of helped regular working people. And pushed for deregulation to help with his own profits in fossil fuel
