  • Best story for me was the first one. A good revenge ending. Just because he "believed" she was cheating he immediately plots her assassination? What a jerk. 9 yrs in prison wasn't enough.
  • man, she got incredibly luck the guys her husband hired were so chivalrous.
  • I'm an Aussie and I remember learning about Captain Thunderbolt when I was a kid. I don't remember hearing about him turning up to his own funeral though. As bushrangers go, he was one that I admired. I knew he was a thief, but when you realized how polite and courteous, he was, it made him a lot more endearing.

My step uncle passed away. At his funeral his brother (not twin but they look alike) came and my mom thought he just standed up from the coffin. My mom almost ran.
  • Hi Be Amazed! I am stoked you brought up Timothy Dexter!! I am also AMAZED you haven't done a video just about him yet! If you're curious, please look up a book written by Timothy Dexter called "Pickles for the Knowing Ones" he was completely illiterate and wrote this book sometime after his fortunes fell into place. After his editor told him"the book needs more punctuation" he responded by adding on a few pages of literally just punctuation. Seriously enjoy if you look into it!! Cheers!

I'd love to turn up alive at my own funeral. The looks on people's faces would be priceless.
  • I don't often comment on videos, but I have to now. Please, more of these kind of videos. It might just be me, but I love these story based videos, they're always so well told. I love them. Keep up the good work <3

About that "narcolepsy" story from 1571. For centuries people were sometimes mistaken for dead. I think it was more likely they had fallen into a coma, especially before anyone knew to check for a pulse and, when in a coma, people breathe very lightly. Very often they did not wake up until they were already buried. Most made it out of their coffins/graves because, though we now bury people six feet deep, in the old days they weren't as precise.
  • As a person with a seizure disorder, I really hate hearing about people who die from seizures😢 Or in the case mentioned, having a seizure and being declared dead 😳
  • Storyfile is something i really wish was around when a few of my family members passed. What i wouldnt give to hear their voice one last time.

The first story was truly amazing not many people would set people like her free
  • Back in the 1800s a woman got sick and "died". At her funeral attenders heard her crying out from the grave so they opened up the casket to find her alive. She went on to give birth to none other than Robert E Lee

4:25 only a nine year prison sentence? For attempted murder?! That seems ridiculous. Noela is definitely in danger of her husband trying to finish the job once he is out of jail.

A friend of mine went out of town for 3 weeks. The second week I saw his name in the paper, it said he died in a car wreck . My friends , and I were in the middle of a funeral for him, he showed up a live, and fine. It turned out his doppelganger. He was surprised too.
  • A few years ago, a great friend and co-worker of mine passed away from cancer. A few months later, another friend and co-worker and I were out shopping at the local Walmart. Lol and behold, we turned down an aisle and there stood our buried friend. I was shocked at first, but then I remembered that she had an identical twin. My second friend didn't remember as fast as I did, but she sure could run fast. The last thing I saw was her shopping bag sticking straight out behind her as she hit the front doors and kept going. I laughed so hard the tears ran right down my leg. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
