I look forward to your videos. I am 79 yrs old, a Viet Nam Era Vet, a Hobby Genealogist and I live in West Virginia and love Nature. I am not able to walk in the woods anymore due to some health issues, and Vermont woods look very similar to West Virginia's woids, except for the elevation. Very cool ring. That looks like it could be a snuff or "dip" container. Finding the 4 pieces of the watch is incredible. Glad the stem is still there. Good hunting.

I started detecting our local small town airfield. It was founded in 1937. I've found many old coins including a 1912 D wheat cent. Yesterday by the old wind sock I detected a great signal and about 8" deep found a 1922 peace dollar. 100 year old coin. You just never know..

Great finds! My heart jumped when you found that signet ring ! The design looks so similar to a gold ring I have of my dad's when he was a child. It's a beautifully scripted monogram with his 3 initial on it, and it's quite small! So I guess little boys got signet rings too. I'm guessing a size 3. Born 1919.
