I sometimes feel like I’m in the minority for liking it when bands experiment (I think I was one of the few that really liked Korn’s dubstep phase)…but I’ve gotta admit that going back to the heavy on this one is nice.

This whole track is just aimed at the people who talk shit about them and I love it. They may not have this sound any more but I still enjoy the music they release.

This song is like how Bad Omens began writing Just Pretend as a joke to show how easy it is to write a radio metal song but then actually just turning it into an absolute banger lol

The breakdown is a masterpiece. Every possible trope "OOH", reverse snare, 0s and 1s, sample stop, broken 16ths, hard panned guitars, solo kick, zillbell followed by "are you happy now?" incredible

The song’s like “why do you want us to stay miserable” and it’s a very valid message. I never got the hate for the new stuff, Architects always sounded like architects. Regardless of the genre direction they take, they have the core architects-ness that is intangible and amazing.

after the way people treated the band, they deserve to get as petty and angry as they want. i busted out laughing more than once during this song because i love how unafraid they were to present a giant middle finger in the shape of a great song.

This sounds like metalcore memes song. BLEGH, 0-1-3-4 and 1-0-0 riffs, sick breakdown and the Gojira scrape.

Its crazy to see this band blow up the way it did - I was listening to them and was obsessed with hollow crown all the way through all our gods have abandoned us - as I got older i fell off but glad to see they're still killing it

10/10, and idc if the song was written ironically. Feral fans the vocal minority, just like in politics/life. Most of them are mentally ill weirdos who mask their music taste as a personality. They get very angry and disconnected when "their" band shifts away.
