Today, I'd like to introduce you to Yamaguchi Barber Shop, which has been in business since 1919 (102 years ago!).
Cut, shampoo, head massage, shaving, facial massage, hair styling, I had the most luxurious barbershop time.
Yamaguchi Barbershop has been in business since 1919, near the current Hayama(JAPAN) Imperial Villa. As soon as you pass through the curtain, the retro interior and mellow background music will lead you away from your hectic daily life and lead you to a relaxing Hayama life.
The interesting thing about Yamaguchi Barber Shop is that it is also open at night, with Masao Yamaguchi, the third generation barber, operating during the day and Taro Yamaguchi, the fourth generation barber, operating at night.
Isn't it super cool to be a barber at night?
This time I visited at night, and Taro Yamaguchi, the fourth generation, was in charge.
It's not shown in the video, but when I walked through the curtain, the fourth-generation owner welcomed me by playing the piano.
The interior of the barbershop was very cool, in a style that has been around since the 1950s. To be honest,
I highly recommend everyone to visit Yamaguchi Barber Shop!

昔通っていた床屋さんにそっくり。 高校生だった自分にも1時間近くかけ、全く同じようなマッサージや洗髪、ひげ剃り、耳の毛の処理など工程が同じでびっくりしました。 やっぱり蒸しタオル最強ですね。

店主さんの隅々まで行き届いたキメ細かく丁寧なお仕事ぶりに、ただただ感動しました！素晴らしいお店ですね👍こんなに至れり尽くせりなんて最高ですね☺️✨
