Among the best places to visit in Bangkok are the notable religious temples and gathering places of the city. The Golden Mount is a must-visit of the city along with the Wat Phra Kaew, Grand Palace (which is a royal residence) and Loha Prasat - known as the Iron palace.
Historical places of importance around the city include the Democracy Monument, striking for its four monolith-type design and message of unity - and the fortified positions that once circled the old town of Bangkok.
If you're looking to grab some peace and quiet around Bangkok then the city has some lovely parks and green spaces, among them is the Queen Sirikit Park and surrounds. Biodiversity is celebrated here with a walk through the grounds taking in thousands of different species.
And if you're in for a bit of bustle then a visit to Chinatown is a must - it's one of the best places to visit in the city.
The museums of Bangkok are well received also with the Jim Thompson House Museum and the Erawan Elephant Museum both being well reviewed among those that take the time to visit.

Wat Phra knew, representing Thailand, is also known as the “Emerald Temple”due to the radiant emerald-colored Buddha enshrined within. It’s featured in video footage as well. It looks beautiful!✌️🌟 We definitely want to see it. Queen SiriKit Park, a vast 22-hectare park, is also showcased.
