The fact that he actually interacts with his fans in the comments shows how nice of a guy he is

The funniest part is when one of the greatest mixed martial artists to ever done it says: “for those who don’t know, my background is mma😂”. DJ, big thanks for the breakdown, it is a brilliant peace of learning material and that is amazing that you gladly let to learn tricks of the trade for virtually everyone interested. That’s what true martial artists does. Once again big thanks for the content, Champ!

Not often does a goat of a sport release constant fight breakdowns and quality videos like this man does, At this point I learn more from your fight breakdowns that I do from my actual irl mma classes 😂 much respect brother and keep on doing what your doing your a legend🙌🏼

Using the pen to point things out was really helpful. Love these reactions/breakdowns

It is so interesting how during the first round (Rodtang’s specialty) he is the aggressor always pushing forward, but in the second round it switches and Mighty Mouse walks down Rodtang, which goes against everything Rodtang has previously shown. It is just so cool to see how they respect the other in their individual sports.

Rodtang is called Iron Man for a reason. I've never seen someone take a leg kick to the chin and just shakes his head. Talking about Haggerty fight. Great breakdown as usual, so many details I've missed because these dudes are so damn fast.

  • @NPCNo-xm2li
These breakdowns are such an awesome treasure trove of information, always gives me a slight level up
  • @koolburn5218
Great breakdown and awesome you even point out some subtle mistakes you made that you could have done better. I'm not a fighter but it's so fascinating to listen to you explain the "what, where, how and why" of everything in these videos. Great content as always Champ!

Congrats on all the success you have outside the UFC. You have always been one of my absolute favorite fighters. The amount of tools you have in your toolbox is simply on another level. Congrats on all of your success outside of the UFC. The amount of tools you have in your toolbox is on another level.I am 1 of your biggest fans for sure. It is nice to see you fighting for an organization that appreciates you for all of your skills and the person that you are at your core... Nothing but complete respect here...❤
  • Dude I'm so happy that you YouTube channel is growing. You deserve all the success!
  • Love this analysis men. I have been doing muay thai for 8-9 months and love to see this type of analysis from super class champions. Great video!
  • @Fuchie
I would have loved to hear you break down Rodtang more in this fight, seeing your thoughts on how to actually defend from yourself in his position, especially in the MMA round. It was so interesting to see his stance change and how much more defensive he became in the MMA round. It was almost a karate stance. It's wild to see Rodtang in such a wide and light stance compared to the typical heavy Muay Thai stance. Goes to show you that even the threat of a takedown changes everything. But it was a fun fight and I think both you and Rodtang came out looking better. Edit: Also I'm glad you got the choke on Rodtang to finish him because I don't think he would have tapped to any submission. Guy is a monster.
  • @jonr4164
ONE referees are much better than UFC if this fight is any benchmark. Love the analysis from the GOAT. Keeping it 100 and paying dues where needed.
  • @boxxrbain
one of the best to ever do it. Congrats man. Fascinating to watch you pick apart a legend in his own sport and eventually pull his wings off. Shocking to see how competitive you were in his world. Crazy!
  • DJ has been my inspiration for a while now. His insane dedication and skill, sincerity and morals really push me to do my best everyday even when I’m exhausted. Watching him go at it and WIN against a literal TANK Rodtang and just waltz through an entire BJJ tournament is just absolute brilliance. I totally understand why Rodtang tapped out after you explained it. Your arm wasn’t under Rodtangs’s chin, but the amount of force you were putting on his jaw translated to his Temporomandibular Joint. That’s crazy. 🔥❤️
  • @freanklee4782
Always love your breakdown videos,I actually feel like I learn more though it than my gym coach lol.
  • @RonALampman
DJ, really love the way you snap your hands back from your punches to cover. Especially recovering from overhands or hooks. Too many just let their arms flop afterward leaving them exposed. Great breakdown brother! Keep 'em coming.
  • @FaNaTiC7449
THAT brake down was PERFECT...Absolutely LOVED IT...educational stimulating motivational Thank you so much appreciated it
  • Great breakdown! I really enjoy watching both of y’all highlights. Finally got to see the fight.🎉
