Everyone is talking about the incident, but no-one's talking about the big gap Max made, which was gone because of the bad pitstop and the tyre difference. Red Bull made a rare mistake by not having 2 new sets of mediums for the race. big difference in performance which helped Lando a lot and was a big advantage for him

Feels like the fan ratings are running into the DOTD problem.

One thing nobody seems to be saying is how after Max and Landos contact, both had puncture and 1 took it easy, limped to pit and finished 5th. And the other went hard after and destroyed the car before getting to pit.

Lando made so many mistakes over the whole weekend.. How are his grades this high? Same people as the ones voting for DotD?

Are we completely ignoring that the only reason Max and Lando came together was a slow pitstop which can't be the drivers fault? Otherwise, he would have finished first with maybe Lando closing the gap to 1s from the 6s he was behind before they pitted.

17:20 Lando didn't have the pace?? Max pulled away??? Sometimes I question if Matt is really an F1 fan... Yo... Only reason Max pulled away is cause Oscar overtook Lando and he couldn't overtake him. Lando was under 1s and in DRS of Oscar for the ENTIRE SPRINT!!!! 20 FUCKING LAPS HE NEVER DROPPED DRS!!! He clearly had multiple tenths on him. Matt are you high?

Russel won the race in the 3rd fastest car, not sure what the hesitation is for.

I would like to give the Race Stewards a 0/10 for this weekend. Piastri's qualifying track limits and the complete failure to moderate Lando+Max's battle in a timely manner were both appalling.

9/10 for Lando for moving backwards and DNF ing? Must be the same people that vote Lando DOTD even when he moves backwards.

I feel like these ratings were quite reactionary. Overall, Max had a very good weekend, and overall Lando had a pretty sh*t weekend. It doesn’t make sense to score either of them where they are.

Matt if it makes you feel better Ferrari also just lost P1 in 24h of Spa, due to Lamborghini stopping mid pit entry and holding up Ferrari for a large time and eventually finishing P2, so Ferrari have bad luck across all racing series 🫶
