Even the fact that they can automatically track which restaurants you go into on CCTV is absolutely disgusting, let alone FINING you for it

Used to work in the McDonalds as a student - did the night shift there and always had to clean up the car park - had to do litter picking for both car parks, not just McDonalds - they never even suggested it was two car parks and Starbucks didn’t provide anyone to clean up the area 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️

My biggest concern, how does a private firm issue fines? Who enforces that? If I refused to pay who would be the court I go to?

Surely he could trick the machine into thinking he broke the laws and issue him a parking ticket when in fact he actually just went back to his car, then sue them for fining him illegally.

This infuriates me! How can people be comfortable with themselves when the are quite simply crooks? This should absolutely be illegal, and both McDonalds and Starbucks should take responsibility too as it’s their customers who are being ripped off. It’s not good enough to simply say it’s down to the landlord. Well done Joe Lycett - keep the good work!
