In the aftermath of the Avengers' battle against Thanos, the world is left in a state of chaos and uncertainty. The government, fearing the rise of more powerful threats, decides to take matters into their own hands by forming a team of reformed supervillains known as the Thunderbolts.
Led by General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, the Thunderbolts are tasked with hunting down and apprehending dangerous criminals and superhumans who pose a threat to global security. The team consists of former villains who have been given a chance at redemption, including Zemo, Ghost, Abomination, Taskmaster, and Yelena Belova (Black Widow's sister).
As the Thunderbolts carry out their missions, they begin to question their own motives and the true intentions of the government. They soon discover that Ross has a hidden agenda, using the team as pawns in his quest for power and control. Betrayed and disillusioned, the Thunderbolts must decide whether to continue serving the government or rebel against it.
Meanwhile, a new threat emerges in the form of a powerful cosmic entity known as the Void. The Void seeks to consume all reality and poses a threat to both the Thunderbolts and the world at large. In order to stop this cosmic menace, the Thunderbolts must put aside their differences and work together as a team.
With high-stakes action, intense character dynamics, and a morally complex storyline, Thunderbolts: Redemption explores themes of redemption, loyalty, and the blurred lines between heroism and villainy. As the Thunderbolts fight to save the world, they must also confront their own pasts and make choices that will define their future.
