Speakers on the hood, beer in hand, friends around the fire. Best of times.
  • How is it that this music has stood the test of time? It's just as good in 2024 as it was in '76! Real musicians playing real music.

25.05.2024 From Italy , I'm 70 years old and I don't get tired of listening to Boston songs, they're certainly better than medicine... 🤣🥰🤣
  • Sitting in the cemetery visiting my brother his birthday is tomorrow. He left me at 64...way too damn young. He gave me my love of music. Best concert ever was Boston at Brooklyn College. They blew the roof off the stage and yes the organ was real and slowly came up while smoke filled the stage.....best memories ever. THEY ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE BEST DAMN ROCK BAND EVER!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN BIG BROTHER...LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!!!!

I was 10 years old in 76.... My baby sitter brought this to my house .....played it on my Dad's stereo.. here I am at 57 listening .... it's just great music
  • Nothing can compare this music and these times. Thank God for our memories!
  • It is very rare that a band releases a perfect debut album. Boston (1976) was one of those rare occasions.
  • I was 16 when I first heard this album at a party , went out the next day and bought it. One of the greatest albums ever made. I’m 64 and it still sounds as good as the first I heard it .

One of the greatest rock n roll albums of all time. An absolute staple of any 70s collection

I am 62yrs old....and If you were around during this time as I was when bands like this & bands like Journey, Kansas, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Steve Miller etc... you were/are blessed as there is nothing that can touch these classic bands. Stepping back in time never felt so great as it does today when I can close my eyes and turn this up and go back to a better world, yeah !!! Nothing can take the place of those times, when you had to tape your own music from the radio to a cassette tape then put that tape in you hot rod and go cruising or when you sat up late at night in your car so you could get those far away radio stations to come in on your new Pioneer Super Turner or maybe a Kenwood or Clarion radio as a friend had in his 1968 Olds 350 Rocket, I had a 1972 Duster with a 340 and now I still have a classic 1968 Firebird with a very old Kenwood component style radio with a separate amp which in those days was brand new idea.
  • Nothing will ever compare to the musicianship from this era. I miss those days so much. But we will always have these memories that can never be taken away. RIP Brad, your voice was amazing. Thank you!

  • I was 8 when this came out and my uncle and aunt who were the coolest people on earth brought this over for my mom and dad to listen to! It’s still incredible today! I’m 56!

Reading through the comments and realizing I must have grown up like Brendan Frazier in Blast from a past from the ages of a majority of you. I'm 39, and while I listen to some crazy music from my era, I'm stuck in the 70s and 80s for music. Between Michael Stanley, Boston, Zep, Floyd, Bad Co, Jethro, Lizzy, Kiss, Outfield, and many others, I'm forever an oldie. My main car is a 69 442, and I also restore muscle cars. Grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and worked at a bowling alley(Southland) until I graduated. Was a mechanic at 15 years old, and honestly, that shaped my life too what it is today. Live in Florida now around the Springhill area on the Gulf, so I'm basically even retired with some of you, lol. The music always brings me back to my youth, which most of my age can't say.I remember BMI cd deals and getting Skynard, Jovi, and all the bads above for a couple bucks and never paying the rest back then 😂😂. I really need to do a podcast for old timers and nostalgia at my property. Maybe one day. Such different times.
