Go to love the early 90s. R&B sound ths for the slow melody's, and then the Nww Jack swing style for the faster ones. Excellent stuff!! 😎

You look like you may be young enough to not have heard the song "I can go Deep" by Silk. That was off their eponymous 1994 album that doesn't get talked about enough. Your song sounds a A LOT like that. And that's not a bad thing. Give it a listen. The similarities may surprise you. And it makes sense. Those Roland synths were VERY popular back then. Silk and Jodeci definitely used the some of the same workstations. Also, Jodeci were SO influential to the modern R&B sound that, in my opinion, we are ALL still making Jodeci style R&B. Or at least a rendition of it.

I like your Rick Rick video, its nice to see him get paid homage. He’s one of my favorite producers and one of my early influences when I started making beats. Do you have a video on your MPC and Cubase workflow? I’m trying to figure out the best way to use my MPC and DAW without using the MPC Software. Or if I have to use the MPC Software what’s a good workflow to use with DAW. Thank You!
