  • Fun fact-during the Irish Famine, Abdulmejid I tried to donated £10,000 (£84,000 pounds today) to help the victims, but he was prevented from doing so by the British government because they didn't want him to donate more money than Queen Victoria did, so instead Abdulmejid donated £1000 plus 3-5 ships full of food.
  • Ottoman empire always fascinates me, I have watched a great number of videos about them yet waiting for more.

Bonus video today! This is a remake of an older video, this time narrated by Syawish from the channel Al Muqaddimah. Whenever you see one of my videos that has been animated like this one (as opposed to point and click), that's Syawish's work as well. He's quite simply an awesome animator.
  • The famous dream of Osman " Uthman" He dreamed that he saw the crescent coming inside his chest, and then a large tree came out that covered the three continents (Asia, Africa, Europe) and covered the four rivers, the Nile, the Tigris, the Euphrates, and the Danube.. The fruits of the tree were swords trending to Constantinople
  • Bey Osman sounds wrong. It's more like Osman Bey, or we usually say Osman Gazi which means Osman the Veteran or something like that. Edit: Gazi essentially means the one who flights for the Allah, the veteran its later added meaning.

I can't express my feelings, i always wanted to see such type of charts and finally i found it going randomly through youtube. very informative video, May ALLAH bless you.
  • The part of the chart shown at 6:18 is super inaccurate as it implies that Kosem Sultan was the mother of Osman II, when his mother was Mahfiruz Hatice Sultan and because it implies that Turhan Hatice Sultan was the mother of Suleyman II and Ahmed II when she was only Mehmed IV's mother.

you sound like you think you are pronouncing the names and titles authentically but none of them are pronounced like that. they are turkish words and arent pronounced with an arabic way in reality. its like calling "edward the 1st" "eduardo the 1st" and thinking its correct.
  • @iuliaforje7175
Very cool video! I like your channel and happy that you came to this channel too! As a Turkish speaker I would apreciate if you researched the Turkish pronunciation of the names. Kösem instead of Qassem for example. Keep up the good work!
