Makita 454 heavy-duty lithium electric drill, multiple failure points,
1. The carbon brush is disconnected and the carbon brush is stuck
2. The rotor is broken
3. The stator silicon steel sheet falls apart
4. The switch cap is missing.
The rotor was rewound, new carbon brushes were replaced, the stator was rebonded, the appearance was deeply cleaned, and finally the function was perfectly restored, and the drilling efficiency on the wood was very high.

The good thing about old tools is that often they can be fixed 👏👏

Great job on the mechanical parts of the drill, but as someone who loves resto videos, I truly believed you were gonna make your own rubber for the parts that are runner somehow and put on a new sticker.
  • Wonderful. I am watching you with envy. It would be nice if you also write down the materials you used.

    The diabolical wiring scheme for this Makita rotor appears to be following: (C = commutator, R = rotor), since it's a 10 pole commutator and 10 pole rotor you can just pick your own starting position as 1. 0.8mm wire C1 R5 R8 7x R3 R10 7x C7 C2 R9 R6 7x R4 R1 7x C8 C3 R5 R2 7x R10 R7 7x C4 C9 R6 R3 7x R1 R8 7x C5 C10 R4 R7 7x R2 R9 7x C6 C1 PACK WIRES VERY TIGHTLY.
  • What is that tool with the yellow handle that you used to separate some parts?

Can you say what kind of copper wire did you use? What temperature rating?
