Cephalopods seem to be some of the favorite creatures on this channel-- they also happen to be some of the sea animals that fascinate me the most! These are just seven fascinating, and some truly strange, deep-living cephalopods including a truly amazing living fossil: the nautilus.

Huge shoutout to EV Nautilus for reliably producing some of the best deep ocean footage around!

I greatly appreciate this channel. Thank you for sharing with us the deep beauty and mystery of the Earth's oceans. I can only imagine what life might exist under the ice of Europa or Enceladus.

Bob, Vamp and Cocky put on a top performance.. no squidding! 🦑🦑💚😁 Can't believe all those living fossils! Nautili just hanging around relatively unchanged for hundreds of millions of years! DSO never fails to bring us the best of the best.. 👌💚 Huge thanks to EV Nautilus for the amazing footage.. and to Rob Endraus for the haunting music 🎶👏

1000 likes.
