Why people love Deadpool’s humor but hate whatever She-Hulk does? They are more similtar than you might think. Both of them break the fourth wall, star in comedic stories, and poke fun at the superhero genre, but Deadpool is beloved by comic-book fans and She-Hulk became one of the most hated superheroes ever. Worst of all, no one thinks Jennifer Walters is funny. In this video we explain the 4 reasons why Deapdool is funny and She-Hulk is not.

  • Well Deadpool & Wolverine was made by people who actually care while She-Hulk is Disney slop.
  • @Quartermp4
“The only reason people watched her show was because of daredevil” That’s depressingly true 😂
  • @TheCalverine
even Deadpool insulting the logan's grave did not make me angry because it was done tastefully. ❤️
  • @SpiderDash
Key difference, Deadpool can laugh at himself and acknowledge his flaws, She-Hulk acts like she's better than everyone else and acts like she has no flaws.
  • @berkin88punk
Deadpool written by smart people, she hulk is written by stupid people

Curious that in the comics I prefer She-Hulk much more than Deadpool, but in Live-Action, Deadpool is much better.
  • @Infamous1892
The difference between She-Hulk and Deadpool is She-Hulk has bad writers, Deadpool has Good writers.

Deadpool succeeds because it's marketed towards people who like Deadpool. She-Hulk fails because it's marketed towards people who hate She-Hulk.
  • Because Deadpool and Wolverine is mad for the fans While She Hulk is made to piss them off

One of the big rules when it comes to breaking the fourth wall is that acknowledging your writing is bad does not automatically make it better.

Funny thing is, comic She-Hulk is more than confident in herself, her abilities, her strength and smarts but she in no way shape or form gloats or tries to make other people feel inferior. In true she’s empathetic, sympathetic, and is one of the friendliest people next to Spiderman to be around
  • She hulk gets cat called Bruce was abused, hunted by the military, tried to kill himself multiple times, and struggled to be the person in control of his own body. His friends had to launch him into space the last time he lost control (where he had to fight, found love, had a kid, then watched the planet die) just to eventually come home and be humbled by thanos then and only then to finally gain control of himself

marvel after endgame is just so so but Deadpool is an exception

Simple. Deadpool’s character actually had development. We got to see him from the very beginning and understanding what happened to him. We’ve been with Deadpool longer and we love him. I watched She-Hulk and the writing was lazy and she had no development whatsoever. She got powers from Bruce and she was just better than him in every way with no effort or explanation. She-Hulk was never faced with stakes or some kind of defining moment. Even though I enjoyed both its because I went into She-Hulk expecting it to be a joke in a way, so for me it was a fun sh*tty movie, simple.

the problem with She Hulk, is that her character is not likeable, and all her jokes are cringey, atleast the live action version.

I think the main difference is that Deadpool has a more playful tone in its self-referential humor. While She-Hulk feels more like they're only trying to appeal to single women in their 30's. Deadpool feels like pre-cancellation Family Guy while She-Hulk feels like modern Family Guy. Plus, Deadpool's comedy is character-driven while She-Hulk's comedy has no rhyme or rhythm. Not to mention Deadpool is more than just comedy, it's also a story about a man battling between self-doubt and desire to be a part of something bigger than himself. He wants to be a hero, but he doesn't think he can be because he's too trigger-happy. What was She-Hulk about?
