Honda EU3000is Generator Surging? Here's The Fix, Simple And Quick!

I helped a friend fix his surging Honda Generator. It had been running like this a long time, but it's a pretty easy fix. These are great generators!

    That is a wonderful generator. Will last for many years provided one takes care of it and doesn't leave stale gas in it.

    Good old Honda. Got an old Olen in the RV that is not running. haha. 3500 HF special been working great for the toyhauler.Good job Tinkering Tom!

    I just pulled my genny out a couple days ago and had this problem. Got lucky though and was able to run enough carb cleaner through it to get it running well in about 10 minutes. But my trials bike is going to need a full break down like you show here. Thanks for the awesome vids Tom!
  • First video I've seen that actually shows how to adjust the pilot screw. They all are set too lean from day 1.

    First man i've seen do a correct carb clean,most the others leave out to pilot circuit and all never adjust the mixture screw.
  • The eco throttle should work with a load or no load. Did you forget to plug the wire back on top of the carburettor?

    Eco throttle should work regardless of load. You still have a problem.

    You really need to use a camera stand, the quality of the content is good but production sucks.
