Superb guest, interview, and discussion. I own this mutual fund and I feel assured that Mr. O'Reilly is handling the fund well--it's in good hands.

Ver interesting guest - thanks! It would be great to hear from more folks from Vanguard who manage the funds / etfs.

Very fascinating episode, would love to see more of these kinds of discussions.

Very interesting perspective. I think most people think that running an index fund has to be a pretty sleepy operation, but this shows it’s not. Instead of chasing performance you are chasing compliance with the index, but it’s still a chase.

Very interesting episode! I wonder how Mr. O'Reilly feels about the introduction of so much Institutional clients money creating possible problems with the overall size of assets to manage as well as the trouble caused in Target Date Funds as a result of them? I've been a Vanguard investor since the early 90's and would love to see more guests from Vanguard on the show.

Just say no to the active stuff, despite the costs being lower than other active funds. Can't go wrong with indexes.

Jeff Basil says every new day at Amazon is day one. I say every day in AI is day one. 1989 I was already doing AI at those days level with the up-to-date technology.

Good interview. AI computer decision trading has been around about 20 years. Manual trading cannot compete response time. AI will not take over human beings just like Words Excel calculator replaced typewriter and slide-rule. It enhances productivity.

I've always been a fan of following the crowd, buying when it goes up and selling when it goes down, but this strategy has caused me to lose money over the past 4 years and I've lost about $100,000 so far. I really want to recover these losses but I don't know how to make the right decisions, do you have any advice?

22:46 "have to have a short term memory" 23:20 doesnt provide the one investment, Slippery. I go to Wealthtrack for actionable items, nothing here to use. "Dark pools", good god.

I hope O'Reilly is not planning to retire any time soon.
