I love this duo!!!! ❤❤❤❤ Hey Jade!!! I was at $331k now I’m at $269k in 19 months. I’m going to be debt free in due time!! 💪🏾
  • I'm praying for the 21-year-old whose dad just passed away and left her the house and inheritance. I pray she seeks some help from someone who isn't going to take advantage of her. God, please help her through this transition.

In January 2024 I decided to snowball and payoff the only debt I had which was my mortgage balance of $212,000. The balance today is $168,000. Super proud of myself and looking to be 100% debt free in 2027.

I literally teared up for Candice and Raphael. I love this for them, they give me hope!🎉

I'm an absolute dog lover but there's absolutely no way in paying 20k to keep him alive.

My dad always said, a fool and their money are soon parted.

this first story is just unreal. what a painful lesson to learn but you've got to keep your head on your shoulders out there
  • @DonaldRedeemed
I love that the guy in the first debt free scream''s hard part of getting all in was wanting to get things for his wife....this is me too.
  • @thekid3770
THANK YOU for explaining the difference between whole life and term life.
  • @Nigriff
George has made 2 of the worst investments in cars and dogs. Teslas do not retain their value and expensive French Bulldogs are prone to health issues. Save a life, adopt a dog.

Desiree, keep the house. Sell the jeep (keep the cheaper car) that would cover the cost of running the house for a year. Get a couple of roommates if you need. Don't sell the house now. I don't understand why they told you to do so, since one of the Ramsey rules is that you should not make major decisions within 6 months (preferably a year) after your dad passed. It's too early to make such decisions. You don't need to be in a rush. Take all the time you need
  • @missburr1228
Dont sell it girl, you got a paid for home, alot of people only dream of this.
  • Well I just got my feelings hurt. I'm sitting here at my desk in my knotty-pine dining room next to my kitchen that has Formica counter tops. I had just about convinced myself that I wasn't a dinosaur! I have been listening to Dave Ramsey for about 20 years and I am totally debt free and I actually could afford right now to solve the question of the Formica counters and my knotty-pine walls but honestly they really don't bother me. But then I still have a wall telephone in my kitchen too and yes, it still works so having that wall phone doesn't bother me either. I may be the only person left on the planet who doesn't own a cell phone. Which member of the Ramsey crew was it who said something like, "If you are thinking of making a purchase, ask yourself if you would make this purchase if you knew no one would ever see it." I love that but honestly my archaic kitchen doesn't bother me even though people sometime see it. I don't mind being archaic and I have never much concerned myself with whether other people liked my stuff. I guess that's one hold-over from being raised in extreme poverty. I got used to having things that most people didn't much like and NOT having things that they DID like. I'm actually joking about my feelings being hurt. I sort of got a chuckle out of it because it reminded me of those bumper stickers on old beat-up cars that say, "Don't laugh. At least it's paid for", and I have the same thought about my archaic kitchen, at least it's paid for. Speaking of old beat-up cars, I am driving a 16-year-old car and that doesn't bother me either. My car may be old but again, it's paid for and as far as I know it has nothing wrong with it so along with my Formica counters and my knotty-pine walls, I'm just keeping it. Maybe I should change my name to T-Rex!

Frenchies are "born broken" largely in part to the amount inbreeding that has been done in order to keep the Frenchie traits which only creates more issues. Ms. Jade, the reason your vet requires your Rottie to be seen every 6 months for a renewal of the eye drops is to make sure the prescription does not need to be changed or if any thing additional needs to be done for him. It is also a part of maintaining the Veterinarian/Patient/Client relationship. Your vet is trying to provide you and your Rottie what we, in the veterinary field, call Best Medicine. :)

100% agree with George on pets. My husband and I have a budget for each dog based of age/quality of life. It's good to budget before something happens, the emotions take over and we end up spending thousands for just a couple more months of life. It's not selfish, it's reasonable. George and Jade, you are awesome! Always solid advice!!!
  • I did not hear any taking of responsibility from the first caller. I liken stuff like that to a gambling addiction. If a scam gets someone once, ok, but repeatedly sending money to something and then blaming them is not entirely fair. I have an ex who did similar things, and he is still doing them in one form or another.
  • @teacherjoan12
Ive been watching dave ramsey show too many times, sometimes I kinda know already what the host will answer to the caller lol
  • @sagmeister2234
Nate. Don’t pursue this relationship. If she wanted to be around you, she wouldn’t be moving 9 hours away. I know she’s saying she wants you to go with her, but she’ll just dump you once you get settled. Yes, it sucks. Please don’t do it. Don’t listen to what they say. Watch what they do.
