A MAN claims he has created a car that might solve the world’s traffic congestion problems. Rick Woodbury from Spokane, Washington USA, is the president, founder and sole employee of ‘Commuter Cars.’ The carmaker’s flagship model is the 2005 super slim two-seater Tango T600, a high-performance electric car that preceded Tesla. Rick told BTV: “I started this company 21 years ago – it was based on an idea that I came up with in 1982.” He was inspired by the shocking traffic congestion he had to face on a daily basis.

2:47 "The car was a runaway success" 2:55 "Took 10 employees 3 and a half years to get 9 and a half cars built, and this is number 10" I don't think you guys really know what a "runaway success is"

if this were brought to a sub 11k price tag, it would be an affordable mode of transportation for the daily commute/urban area. imagine parking 4 cars as he did vs one parallel to the st. quite a unique and awesome concept hopefully maybe even tesla or someone will pick up the idea. internationally possibly in china or japan i can imagine

It’s hilarious watching this thing fly through these corners when visually, it looks like a little puff of wind wind throw it over. But consider just how low the center of gravity is, this thing rips

Rick! I would rock this thing. Sadly the price is out of range for my shallow pockets but if you ever find yourself longing to find a new home for one of these to be appreciated and used, I'll be here as long as my human body allows.
  • Would drive this through the mall through every department of every store. Take the elevator and do the same on the second floor.
