I write a few of my songs, like this one, to be simple and to sort of subtly suggest images, and emotions so you can ride along with whatever you're feeling while listening.

But in case you didn't understand what the secret to happiness was, it's

For me, happiness is lots of little things, and slowly making your life better. I suppose some people in the world are lucky and get what they want. the perfect relationship, or doing something they love everyday. But I think that even when you get those intense moments, you still have to learn to appreciate the everyday. Appreciate what you can. And slowly make your way towards what you really want. If you need friends, or to pursue a passion, or to travel, then make your way towards that future, until you wake up one day thinking you are truly fulfilled. Happiness, I think, comes to you once you have chased what you desire, but ALSO by appreciating the chase, and finding what's next in store for you. They say it's about the journey, not the destination, but that's bullshit. You can't have a journey without a destination. You don't leave without a reason. The reason is your destination, your motivation is what you're looking for. And so a careful balance of many small destinations and many small journeys interlocked into larger destinations and larger journeys is the path of life. And the path to happiness. Reaching destinations is important, but so is journeying to them. So live! And chase! And Dream! And Be! I hope this made sense to you.
