Thanks for this video. I ve just bought a neat little unit, the EF2200is and was wondering about the maintenance regime. Now I know and feel very confident about this machine lasting a long time ..

Hi - I have a very reliable but high-hours Yamaha EF2600. Do the generator bearings need any attention, or are they sealed, life-time bearings?

Spark arrestor appeared to be stuck in the muffler on my EF2000IS. Did you have any luck getting it out?
  • My two year old Yamaha 1000i, starts great and runs smoothly but after 10 minutes of operation (whether on economy or not or under load or not) it simply stops. It will restart but then only run for a few minutes and, if I start it again, for an even shorter period. Anyone any idea on what would cause this?

My generator keeps getting water in the fuel yet it's never outside & always covered with a thick towel.
