  • Who do you think would win? A Giant god of the lizard with radioactive breath or one monke
  • @Mort7an
Hewlett is insanely talented. No other virtual groups have risen to Gorillaz' level because no one else has the artistic chops of Hewlett; he makes the project so visually compelling.

I've always loved Gorillaz and always thought it was crazy they weren't talked about more. You have to literally look for information on them.
  • I saw Gorillaz live about 3 years ago with my older brother and they’re definitely an awesome live band, plus Gorillaz is one of my favourite bands so this was definitely a cool video to watch. Great job as usual, dude

Damon Albarn knows how to classify his music style on Gorillaz, Blur and his solo work. All of whom are still active and maintain its foundation. I must say i'm impressed.
  • Not just possessed by dead musicians, but the spirits of his friends who were said musicians who died in a shooting of which Hobbs was the only survivor
  • aw hell yeah. as a gorillaz & beatle fan I've gotta say this channel keeps on getting better and better edit: 2D's real name is stuart harold pot, not stuart harold. just thought I'd clear that up as harold is just his middle name
  • @AatVandelay
This was amazing. I grew up as a casual listener of Gorillaz but never picked up on the Blur, Ghibli, or Beatles connections/inspirations in their work. It's also fascinating because music seems to be one of the few media where artists can still protect their privacy/anonymity and 'death of the author' in their work.

I'm not sure how well known the name Russell Hobbs is outside the UK, but here, RH is a popular brand of kettle!
