"That wasn't flying! That was ...falling with style!"

Finally part 2 arrives. Great videos. Please scale it up. The last drop really proved that it could work.
  • Scale it up! I think maybe going to a wood and cloth setup instead of plastic would go a long ways. Maybe a 1 foot or so wing span? Good job man!

"The easiest landing I never did"....classic.
  • @spikekent
Fantastic! You looked ecstatic, and justifiably so. That qualifies as a resounding success in my book. Looking forward to your next iterations.

3d printing is a super heavy method for constructing something like this. In your last video when you said the weight to surface area scaled properly you forgot how air doesnt scale. To get similar results to an actual wingsuit man you would need your model to be significantly lighter than what would be proportional to its height.
  • Falling with style! It didn't tumble straight down but covered some ground with control. Great fun to watch. Congrats!
  • @jjavankan
Great! Thanks Tom. You made me smile again. Was watching you long time ago in your T-Rex 700 time. Glad I found you again, great video's Tom. Keep up the good work. (Sorry, English is not my native language)
  • Wow, that last jump looked really great! This looks like it’ll be feasible to improve flight characteristics! Thank you for doing this project, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a couple years now but I’ve still yet to get a 3D printer...I have so many projects I’d love to do. So thank you for doing this series 🙏

This kid never ceases to amaze me. Well done! Again!

That was really cool. That's what I like about your channel you try things that others say will never work. I can't wait to see the scaled up version.
  • @Zorkz
I've been checking your channel daily for this!
  • @gikar1948
