In regards to reusing lids, I always reuse the jars and lids from jelly, beets, spaghetti sauce, anything that has that little inner rubber seal for my water bath canning. So far it has worked for me also!

I wish you said more about the canning part. Water bath. Before you put the oranges in I’m doing this tomorrow if I can!

OMG I can't believe it's that simple! I've been pressuring canning for years and never did a water bath....WHO KNEW! Oranges were just on sale but it's just me and my husband so I passed on it but! I won't anymore. TFS THUMBS UP!

I’m always amazed at how easy you make it! I found an app that saves you greatly on produce, pantry, meats, dairy……I was just looking at what was available today low and behold they have three pretty good size boxes of oranges, missed varieties, but about 25 ish for 3.00! I’m was thinking what the heck can I so with these (my old hands can’t squeeze anymore). Check one of my favorite channels and behold there you are canning oranges! I’m off to get two boxes of oranges. Thank you!

I had no idea you could can oranges. Thanks for doing this video. So informative. Thank you!!
  • I use the sauce jars too. I use the lid it comes with for dry pantry storage and ball lids for canning
