This is the story of Leah and her husband Jonas. After birthing black triplets, Jonas suspected her of cheating on him because both he and Leah were white. He kicked her out of the house and took all the money in their joint account, before going AWOL. Leah managed to get her life back in order, living with her Mom and raising her children to the best of her ability. But then, ten years later, things changed in a way she couldn’t have expected. I would have forgiven him, but not taken him back. Then I would have told him to support his children financially. The restraining order would remain intact.
