Any of you content creators getting these EVOs from Elves actually going to get out on them and tell us what they're like to ride?! Got a hundred build videos but no actual reviews. We need to make decisions here!
  • Nice work. Leaving the nasty bits to Johnny is brilliant. He knows his bikes. Great pointing out the difference between UK and Continental on the placement of the brake levers.
  • Thankyou for making this content, this is the exact build, exact content, and super detailed video tutorial that I'm searching for thankyou thankyou thankyouuuuu ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Elves should consider offering a pre-built option, like Rose & Canyon do. Would surely increase sales for rookies like to me to whom the assembly looks daunting.

Nice vid! Thank goodness we finally have a video and potentially a future review of the Valar wheelset! Had my eye on them for a bit but can never find any reviews or testimonials
  • If they didn’t wind tunnel test the bike then it’s not really aero, I would say buy a casd13 with 105 then upgrade the wheel set and it will be a better bike.
  • Another excellent build video, you're gaining a reputation Jordain 👌
  • Great build, Jourdain! The headset spacer/washer is something I'd need too after getting my bike fit on my Falath Pro last year. Elves did a great job of making it look good both ways, with or without the spacers.

Just finished my build. Super pleased with the finished product.

In the final stages of my build based solely off your posts. I have the Shimano 105 Shadow mech as well. The hanger I received from Elves was not the same as the hanger you have shown in your video. You said it came with the frame set. The one I have from Elves is clearly shorter. I asked Elves to send me one for the “Shadow Mech” and they sent me the same one I already had with the frame set. Can you provide some guidance on the proper hanger for the rear derailleur? Thanks in advance.

Beginner here: can I transfer all the Shimano 105 bike parts from my 2014 giant defy to an Elves frame?
  • @edafade
I like the bike building videos, but I would really like actual reviews of these bikes after they're built. How do the ride? Any issues since putting them together? Pros/cons? It's cool to see them being built and a general view while building, but this doesn't really give real world expectations.

I must be the only one that allows for a 5mm space on the top of the stem. Nice frame looks well made
  • Hi Jourdain. You made me decide to order a Falath EVO too. Your videos are honest, logic and easy to understand; and funny. Anyway, my height of 176 also made me order exact the same size and color as yours. The build will be different though: high end with SRAM red AXS, light accessories and a DUKE Baccara disc 48 SLS Ultra2 wheelset. Hope to keep the scale under 7.2 kilos😊. Looking forward to your 2nd part of your build. Keep up the good work!

I've built up my MTB from frames for the last 10 years. Not sure I could be arsed with the integrated bar/stem/hidden cables of a road bike though. When I got a new bar recently I purposefully just went for a standard one rather than the integrated stuff.

great build. it is mental that this build is an "affordable" superbike at 3k. I'm hoping for a chinese contender to make a light frame to rival the Aethos.
