So, who wins here? No, neither America nor Japan. It's forgiveness and peace.

I wish for peace and harmony everywhere. Once as a kid I read the story of a Japanese girl who got blood cancer as a result of radiation exposure because of nuclear attack. She made origami birds and prayed for her life. Later she died.I kept on thinking of her for a very very long time. It was heartbreaking.

Now keep in mind, of ALL the presidents before AND after him, he is the first and only president to visit the Hiroshima Memorial and meet the survivors. THIS is what a true US president looks like. God, I miss this guy so much!

Never forget the man that had a business trip in Hiroshima, survived the blast, went back to his home in Nagasaki, and survived that blast.
  • A very important and historic moment for those 2 countries and maybe a lesson for us all.

These are good people. Despite what happened, they are forgiving & kind. God console & bless them

If Trump was there talking: "We made the largest bomb... the biggest bomb... lemme tell ya.... we did a great job." weird hand motions

I just visited yesterday. Amazed at the peaceful energy and beauty this park held. A genuinely surreal experience being there in person.

This made me cry my eyes out... You've proven that a nation can actually GIP (Grow In Peace) a million times better than it's been destroyed, Japan! Love you from India... ❤❤❤
  • Japan has prospered and citizens are some of the most honorable people on earth. We stand by Japan forever and it’s Allies

It is not about forgiveness, it's about understanding the cost of one's own actions
