I'm also happy they stuck with the source material. Netflix has a way of throwing "stuff" into their shows that isn't warranted (Cowboy Bebop, Resident Evil, etc). I'm glad Oda agreed for them to produce the show, only if he had overall say in the development and overall product. The show is great and it makes me happy that there is a positive following

Nobody believes Monkey D. Luffy when he says he's going to be King of the Pirates. For starters, he doesn't even have a boat. Or a crew! And his first choice for a crewmember is Rorona Zolo, a pirate hunter and a prisoner in the hands of the navy.
