I always thought that Araki's drawing style is more like a piece of art than an anime style. I guess that's what makes it unique

This man is an inspiration. If you look at his earlier works, you will see how he has progressed in time. From something Harlock-esque, to what we know today. He created and inspired many of anime's greatest series. This man is the reason I keep drawing. I look at his work and say, "I WILL be able to do that one day." Long live Araki.

Araki's work changed mine a lot, I take to fashion magazines a lot and study historic art all the time now, and it's improved my work quite a bit. Thanks Araki, for Jojo for the inspiration, it's changed my webcomic greatly.

A good artist takes dedication, time, effort, stength, concentration, careful studying, passion, cleverness, strategy, step by step process, and above all never give up. Huge respect on the man in this wonderful video!
