  • @chiefpiatti
After wasting time watching 8 rookie YT videos on replacing fuel lines, I finally found a man that knows his stuff. Thanks Steve.
  • @rossball647
thanks. the cutout was an excellent illustration on showing how the purge pump works with filter and all. you obviously had gone to a lot of effort to make this video and it's very much appreciated.
  • @zgarcia51
Steve, you are a huge time saver for me. I recently acquired a Homelite chainsaw. I dismantled and cleaned the carb, but could not get the thing to work. I worked on it for hours! Your fuel line example was great. Turned out the fuel lines had been previously replaced incorrectly. I reworked new lines based on your example and Voila, it worked! I've seen a few of your other videos and they are excellent. Thanks
  • @keithbrookshire
That was a great explination of what's going on with the purge bulb. It's great to know it won't flood the carb.
  • @glassonyon
Only guy on the planet who illustrates this plumbing setup!! Go Steve! Go!! Also kudos on the carburetor adjustment fuel/air mix screw tuning video!
  • @bigtexas7580
This is the best primer bulb vid on youtube. I always refer to it when I get a piece of equipment in where someone has put the fuel lines on wrong.
  • Wow Steve. 4hrs of me messing around trying to start my chainsaw and I realised I had my PURGE bulb backwards. Brilliant video. Thank you
  • This completely solved a problem for me that was doing my head in. It is so counter-intuitive that I would have never realised this. Thank you. Thank you mate!
  • @MrHalfpint32
Steve you have absolutely the best fix it videos I have watched. You don't miss a detail and always very thorough. If anyone watches your videos they can definitely do the work. Thanks a ton.
  • @marcswanson7066
Thanks, you've quickly made a complicated subject understandable. There's nothing like a few good photos and/or drawings to help clarify matters. No one will ever know how much knowledge and how many insights have been passed on to others using only the back of a napkin and a pen or pencil.
  • I love absolutely LOVE YOUR CHANNEL. YOU ARE SO THOROUGH IN EXPLAINING HOW EVERYTHING IS SUPPOSED TO WORK. YOU MAKE IT WHERE A NOVICE OR EXPERIENCED PERSON CAN UNDERSTAND. PLEASE DONT EVER QUIT MAKING VIDEOS.
  • @butchnelson5884
Your video was two days late, I screwed around most of the day trying to figure it out and looking for a video to show me, and also how to replace the two lines from the tank that kept cracking until the last 3/4 in. with line splice, the whole thing just made me wanna go back to my recliner!
  • Thanks Steve, I took it apart to replace my tank and then an emergency came up and a year later now I couldn’t remember what were the routing order As always you explained it so so well 😎🇺🇸 !!!
  • @yazvoldz7782
TY Steve, dry rot made it impossible to figure which line went where. YOU made my day. Thanks again for the model (art) illustration.
  • @joebodkin6534
Stumbled on your site today while working on a FS-90.Ended up watching 5 hours of your tutorials off and on while working on it. I am an experienced small engine mechanic but a refresher never hurts.Great Job !!!!
  • I was always in fear of flooding the engine by pressing to many times on the purge bulb. Thanks to your clear tutorial with demonstration on how it works, you saved me money and lots of frustration. Steve you are really a gift to us youtube students! Blessings to you from New Rochelle N.Y. with much gratitude!!
  • Thanks for explaining the obvious to most. I bought a “broken” Husky chainsaw that wouldn’t start. The fuel lines were backwards on the PURGE bulb. (I did NOT know the difference as to bulb location) I ASSume primer bulb is on Stihl. Purge bulb is on Husky. But anyway. Thanks for taking the time to help us and save us money. You REALLY do a good job of KISS and explaining in detail why stuff works. That really helps!!!
  • @csmihaly
Steve, your creativity, and the wonderful explanations are priceless. I know how much work goes into these awesome presentations, from setting the show up, the camera angles, the editing; absolutely fascinating. Thanks a lot!!!
  • Steve, you just do the greatest. Your videos are extremely helpful to us handy guys. I have learned so much from you and you have saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars on repair to my extremely hard to star Husqvarna chain saw. Keep up the good work. I check your posts every day and always learn something new and beneficial.Thanks.
